NOAA Radio – a must have!
A NOAA radio is a must have. We live in FL and have a ton of severe thunderstorms, but we are just getting over a long tropical storm that caused flooding and tornadoes. How comforting to know immediately that there is a tornado. Our radio went off and we were already looking into the storm before the news even brought up the emergency signal. What comfort to know that the radio will go off any time day or night! I rarely watch the news so a NOAA radio was a must have for me. But now seeing how quickly a person can respond to a tornado warning even before the news can warn you I would say it is a must have for EVERYONE!
